VOICES mixed-media present opens Oct. 6 at Aspen Chapel Gallery
Artist Doug Graybeal’s work will likely be displayed on the mixed-media present on the Aspen Chapel Gallery from Oct. 6 by Nov. 12. Graybeal is also the curator for the occasion, which is being placed on with the Carbondale nonprofit VOICES.

VOICES, a mixed-media present, will open on the Aspen Chapel Gallery, Thursday, Oct. 6, with a reception for the artists from 4 to 7 p.m. 

The exhibit will run by Nov 12. Collaborating artists embody Robert Burch, Sheri Gaynor, Doug Graybeal, Wewer Keohane, Sandy Johnson, Savanna LaBauve, Bobbi Moross, Lisa Singer, Hannah Stoll, and Mindy Vernon. Graybeal is also the curator. 

The present is in partnership with Carbondale’s VOICES, a Colorado nonprofit. Ten % of gross sales and 20% of sponsorships will go to VOICES, which has a mission to “amplify voices in our group by the humanities.” 



Graybeal assembled a cross-section of artists working in lots of mediums and kinds from portray, images, glass, print making, and ceramics.  Every gallery artist was paired with an artist from VOICES.

That is essentially the most distinctive present I’ve curated,” Graybeal stated in a press release. “It was stimulating to me to work together with my VOICES companion and led me to discover my artwork in an entire new method. Please come to the opening and meet the artists, have meals and refreshments, and study extra about VOICES.”



That is the 237th consecutive exhibition for the reason that Aspen Chapel Gallery opened 38 years in the past.
