Visiting hours might be held on Wednesday, February 22, from 5pm to 7pm on the Prepared Funeral & Cremation Service South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Rd. Burlington.  A Mass of Christian Burial might be celebrated on Thursday, February 23, at 10:00am at St. Joseph Cathedral with burial to comply with in New Mt. Sherlyn M. Allard, 74, of Milton, VT died on February 15, 2023 at UVM Medical Middle.

She was born on March 19, 1948 the daughter of the late Howard and Frances (Quenneville) Manley. Sherlyn graduated from Burlington Excessive Faculty class of 1966 and obtained two Bachelor levels from the College of Vermont, one in Medical Expertise and one in Accounting.  She was married to Paul Allard in 1970 at St. Joseph Cathedral in Burlington.

Sherry earned her CPA in September 1980. She labored for an area agency and began her personal CPA enterprise, Allard and Associates. In later years she labored for Scheer and Hickey performing tax returns at the start of every 12 months. 

Sherry had a particular love for her horses. She was a devoted Horsewoman with associations all through the state. She acquired her first horse in 1975, proudly owning six throughout her driving profession. She loved attending horse exhibits and earned quite a few blue ribbons in dressage and aggressive path driving. She liked each alternative to be outside, visiting many Nationwide Parks in each the US and Canada, mountaineering the Lengthy Path, and in a single day tenting together with her husband and school associates.  She particularly liked working in her giant backyard round her house and spending time together with her grandchildren. Sherry cherished each second on the driving trails and her shut relationships with long-time associates. She loved each soiled job and each dialog about horses, be it previous or current.

She is survived by her husband Paul Allard of Milton; her two sons, Patrick Allard and spouse Heather of Saranac Lake, NY, Tony Allard and spouse Yvonne of Wellsville, PA; her grandchildren Madelyn, Benjamin, and Samuel Allard; her brothers, Neil Manley of So. Burlington, Craig Manley and associate Melody Alarie of Burlington, her sister Eileen Labonte and husband Lonny of Nashua of NH, and by quite a few cousins, nieces and nephews.
